Because I am a certified Wedding Planner, I also have the support of thousands of other wedding planners and access to monthly continuing education workshops.
In addition to my professional knowledge, I have gained hands-on knowledge as a travel agent since 2007. My work as a travel agent has allowed me to unite my travel and wedding planning skills, all in pursuit of my professional reinvention. For instance, because of my extensive travel agent experience, I can assist couples with destination weddings. I can also set up an online "honeymoon wish registry" using my website. Through that registry, guests can purchase vacation gifts for the couples rather than household items. The registry ensures a couple's perfect honeymoon—including meals, airline upgrades, spa treatments, helicopter tours, entertainment, and flowers for their suite—but most importantly helps to offset the typical honeymoon expenses.
Also, for many years, I have been passionate about arts and crafts and began volunteering for various functions where I was able to display my creations. After receiving numerous compliments from family and friends, I decided to pursue business ownership that would encompass my creative ideas for festive celebrations. Pop Celebrations by SJ coordinates all types of events and provides unique customized décor that includes welcome bags, party favors, and tablescapes to match a desired color scheme or theme.
Ultimately, my mission is to provide thorough and detailed planning to ensure a client's vision, and expectations are accomplished.
